For me, I feel a little overwhelmed because I feel I need to keep up, though I know that’s not necessary. So I’ve dipped in and out when I have space. I think it could be good to have a weekly round up post instead, but that’s just me. The depth of a prompt depends on what it brings up. Like you, some have led me along my path of grief and I’ve cried as I’ve walked along it. Others have me stumped or some feel too deep for that moment. I’m enjoying being part of the process 🥰
Thanks so much Joanne for your kind and honest post. I can totally relate to how a daily prompt may be a bit overwhelming at times, although I'm glad to hear that you're dipping and skipping as you please. Some prompts do go deeper and it's totally fine to give yourself some time after that to digest whatever came up. That's the whole purpose of this, to allow yourself to flow and grow through all the seasons of life. <3 Take them as they come, don't force anything in or out. I'm going to look into doing a weekly prompt too soon - for whoever wants to take things at a slower pace, or just wants to switch them around a bit. Happy to have you here and please take care of yourself in the moments when your writing may bring up deep emotions. Love Mies xxx
Hi Mies, I haven’t done anything with the prompts, warned you about that 😁 but I read them and think about them. I like that I’m part of your community and I would certainly participate in a chat. Maybe, in due course and if others would like it too, we could have a life chat over Zoom or Teams. I would really like to get to know the others and their projects. Just a thought! Whatever you feel is good and in any case keep going, have a good week! Cx
Cécile, it’s so lovely to hear that even though you haven’t been able to write (yet) that the prompts are giving you things to think about. That is a great start and of course also very, very much allowed! I will be starting up the chat soon and also look forward to organizing a Zoom session - just to chat and meet each other, as it sounds lovely. Wishing you a wonderful week too Cécile, lots of warmth! xx
