Autumn has a way of drawing us inward.
The air cools, the light softens and the trees remind us that letting go can be beautiful. It is the season of gathering in, of pulling blankets close, of lighting candles, of listening to the quiet voice within.
And just as nature shifts, so do we. Autumn offers us the gift of reflection. It asks us to notice, to pause and to choose what we carry forward… and what we gently set down.
The Autumn Tones writing booklet 🌾
To honour this season, I’ve created the Autumn Tones Writing Booklet: a collection of 10 gentle writing invitations woven with the poetry of autumn.
Inside you’ll find prompts to help you:
🍂 Notice beauty in everyday moments.
🍂 Explore the art of letting go.
🍂 Gather memories and wisdom from the year.
🍂 Welcome stillness and prepare for rest.
This booklet isn’t about writing perfectly. It’s about writing honestly, in your own rhythm, in your own way. A page, a line or a whisper of thought is enough.
✨ Think of it as a lantern you carry with you into the darker months, guiding you back to yourself through words.
You can find it here: Autumn Tones Booklet ✨

A free online gathering ✨
But autumn isn’t only about solitude: it’s also about connection. The joy of sitting together, telling stories and being reminded that we’re not alone on this path called life.
That’s why I’m inviting you to a free online gathering on Thursday, October 10th, from 7–8pm (CET).
This won’t be a writing workshop, it’s something gentler. Think of it as a circle of supportive souls, meeting across the miles with a cup of tea or coffee in hand. We’ll share stories, reflections and simple conversation. You don’t need to prepare or bring anything but yourself.
Just show up. Be welcomed. Be part of the warmth.
How to join us
If you’d like to be part of this autumn gathering, simply reply to this post with your email or send me a note at writeme@subscribrary.com. I’ll make sure you receive the meeting link.
Writing & gathering: a seasonal rhythm
You don’t need the Autumn Tones booklet to join the gathering - both stand on their own.
But I believe they complement each other beautifully. The booklet gives you private space to explore autumn on the page, while the gathering gives you a circle to share, listen, and feel connected. One is inward, the other outward and together they weave the season’s rhythm.
So whether you come to write, to share, or simply to sit in good company, know that you are deeply welcome.
Autumn reminds us that change can be gentle, that slowing down has its own beauty, and that sharing our stories keeps us warm.
🍂 Will you join me?
With warmth and great gratitude,
